This new blog series will chronicle a golden age of my life, before home consoles, social media and even mobile phones took over.
I was lucky to be born in 1974. As a young boy I witnessed the birth of the arcade computer game (and computer games in general) in the late 70’s, was a teenager through their 1980’s heyday and, sadly, around to mourn their demise in the early 90’s. A lot has changed since, both socially and in terms of the gaming industry itself.
