Last post of 2020!

After an awfully unique year, and just short of the 100 posts a year target, I reach my 99th and final post of 2020.

I know we’re not there yet, but after the year we’ve all had, I thought it was time to shut up shop for the year, relax with family, and put the blog to bed early, starting afresh in the new year.

First of all, I’d like to thank two contributors in particular: Niko Lalangas for his detailed and informative articles focussed on Line 6 guitar gear, and Indiana Lee who has enriched the blog with thought-provoking works on something that has become critical in this year of COVID, namely Music therapy, which has since gained its own category. I’m deeply humbled at the time and effort you’ve made on behalf of my little old blog that went onto become a global community for all things Guitar, Music, and Travel.

For me, 2020 has been a year of (mostly) working from home, which has given me more time to get back into songwriting and music production, so my highlights have been releasing my first music in over five years: When You’re In Love and In Our Hands. I hope you found the articles on Garageband etc. that stemmed from this process useful.

2020 has also been a year of momentum for The Blogging Musician, gaining its highest number of visitors to date by some margin, in only its fifth year in existence. So thank you to everyone who has stopped by, even for one second.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and beyond into a hopefully much more joyous 2021!

Thank You!
