The Blogging Musician launches business

The Blogging Musician has officially launched as a business! Please check out our products on Google My Business today.

As we enter the New Year, as in every year, it’s time to take stock and plan for the future. First up is to set the Blogging Musician up as a business with a Google My Business presence.

So, what’s all this about? Well, although the Blogging Musician is mostly about Guitar, Music, and, to a lesser extent Travel blogs these days, I also have original music and books out there that I’m really proud of and were the driving force behind the blog in the first place. It’s the latter that gave me the idea to set up as a business on Google and to take advantage of the extra exposure afforded to the blog.

To be honest, I’ve found promoting blogs and in particular contributor’s blogs to be much easier than pushing my own work, there’s at least some level of ambiguity and privacy, whereas my music and books are much more personal, sometimes too personal for comfort. However, after the year we had in 2020, I thought why not cast aside the blogging safety blanket and raise my head above the parapet, I’m a published author and musician after all (there, I said it).

First of all, I’d greatly appreciate it if you could send the business a rating, this will also help with driving traction to the blog.

Goa: A Lesson in Life
Back in August 2006 I visited Goa, India. A trip that affected my outlook on life, views on my country and my attitude towards others of all backgrounds. In 2015, I finally decided to put down in writing all the experiences encountered on my journey, not least my admiration for India, its people and its culture.
Prague: The Musical City
Discover the true heart of Prague: The Musical City on a unique, revealing journey, exploring the secrets and taboo of the majestic capital of Bohemia and the Czech Republic, where music and the arts thrive despite years of oppression. “It’s dark but glittering, ugly but beautiful, welcoming but secretive, free but imprisoned. Prague is all the contradictions, just like the beauty of life and love itself”
