Walking Hadrian’s Wall

Walking Hadrian’s Wall. The Blogging Musician @ adamharkus.com

On September the 26th I’ll be embarking on the Walk the Wall challenge, which is a 17.5-mile walk along the most spectacular section of Hadrian’s Wall.

To all our readers and contributors, too many children aren’t even able to have a decent breakfast. Greggs Foundation, through its Breakfast clubs, is working hard to help them, but they need support, so I’m Walking Hadrian’s wall to raise funds for them.

The Greggs Breakfast Club Programme was established in 1999 to help primary school children get a nutritious start to their school day.

Every school is provided with fresh bread from their nearest Greggs shop, and a grant to support start-up and ongoing costs. The average club costs just £2,000 to set up and run for a year.

Never heard of Hadrian’s Wall? The northern frontier of a mighty empire that once covered the known world. Find out about its fascinating history here:

For the record, I live only a few miles from a place called, aptly, Wallsend.

Visit https://greggs.charitycheckout.co.uk/cf/Walk-the-Wall for full details of the event.

Please spare all you can, any amount is greatly appreciated. Here’s my fundraising page: https://greggs.charitycheckout.co.uk/pf/adam-harkus

Let’s get some kids a decent breakfast!

Thank you All,

Adam
