WP Rocket: Peak Website Performance

How WP Rocket maximised my website performance whilst simplifying its maintenance.

WP Rocket is a premium WordPress plugin that helps improve a website’s loading speed and SEO ranking.

That’s the marketing blurb, but in reality, WP Rocket has been transformative for my website performance leading to more traffic and revenue. But don’t just take my word for it. Look at the stats below …

This year has been a struggle with Google’s March Update but I seemed to have ridden out the storm and got back to where I was traffic-wise with the usual free WordPress optimisation plugins (W3 Total Cache, WP-Optimize, Autoptimize). However, I wanted something more, to set the blog apart from the crowd and give me the edge for Google ranking. For the first time in almost 8 years of blogging, I thought I would give a premium (paid-for) plugin a try. And I don’t regret it.

Is WP Rocket worth the money?

$35.40 for a single website for a year. When you take this into account, along with website hosting, domain fees, and a CDN, you’re talking $15-20 a month to run a website. I get it. Blogging is a risk. You can’t guarantee revenue against a set cost, so it’s only natural to minimise them. But look at the flip side. I have given this blog eight years of my life, and nothing has delivered anywhere near the impact on my performance for so little effort. I wish I had installed it sooner. Of course, $20 a month might not be viable for new-starters, but, as my Grandad always used to say…

You have to speculate to accumulate

WP Rocket has got me ahead of the game for once and given me a boost in performance, leading to better ranking, traffic and revenue. WP Rocket is already easily paying for itself, and, as an added bonus it’s an optimisation and performance plugin rolled into one, meaning fewer plugins overall and a leaner site. WP Rocket is also super simple to configure and manage.
