I enjoyed this short book so very much!! I laughed, I chuckled, I relived my very first visit to Prague as I walked with the author along Prague’s cobbled streets seeing things over again and for the first time through his eyes.
Adam Harkus is a very good writer. The book was informative, entertaining, and a must read for anyone going to Prague for the first time. A much more realistic “travel guide” than you will find anywhere else.
I love Prague… its’ beauty, history, and people. I agree with the author that the heart of Prague is the Charles Bridge, the veins are Mala Strana, and the jewel is Prague Castle. His insight was awesome when he wrote…
At last, I understood. On the outside, Prague has been conquered by war machine and sold its soul to tourism, but they were mere glancing blows. Prague’s unbreakable heart remains forever for those wishing to seek it.
