The Soundtrack to “Goa : A Lesson in Life”

If you’ve read my book Goa: A Lesson In Life (what are you waiting for?!), you may be interested to know that the beginnings of my album This is Who I Am were formed in that tiny room and out on the terrace of AnjunaPalms: Goa, with the tracks Over There and Happy Home making it onto the final cut.

In many ways, the album really does make the ideal companion, a soundtrack even, to the book.

Anyway, I digress. It has and ALWAYS will be ‘All about the music’, so let re-introduce you to……

This Is Who I am

A culmination of ideas and experiences going right back to a visit to Goa in 2006. It’s also my first officially released album after 20 years of songwriting.

This is it….. No help nor hindrance, from beginning to end. Acoustic ballads to multi-layered rock and all points in between.

  1. I really like this idea, and it’s one of I’ve toyed with before for a novel. Not my own music (the last time I wrote lyrics was in high school, it was bad), but the idea of having a companion playlist for a novel. It’s a compelling idea and I’m happy to see someone trying it out. Best of luck!
